Up very early after a bad night of Daisy Delhi belly strikes again 🙁

Faff at checkout over payment, grab a tuktuk to the Amritsar railway station with the usual chaos outside it – head in and towards platform but a friendly fellow traveller helps point us the right way anyway

Onto the train, find out seats/beds – not too crowded yet, plenty of chai walking up and down tho

Daisy grabs a blanket (not sure if they are ours or not), naps while Dave keeps watch

Train starts off slow but picks up some pace as we head out

Chatting to a man heading to Mumbai – 30 hours on this train ????

Arrive only a few mins late into chandrigah past the faff and greeted by a dozen people at the bottom of an escalator offering tuktuk rides, we accept one and head straight to Nexus Elante mall for a much needed Starbucks as a safe bet

Chill then head up for a spot of lunch at … really awesome and cheap would recommend! Chicken breast burger for Dave as it’s really hard to find it seems. and tomato soup and veggies for daisy with her still upset yummy 🙁

Little mosey around the mall, grab some liquids and head out to get a taxi to kalka – instead of waiting another 5 hours for the train, we opt to spend the £8 and treat ourselves with some door to door service

Checkin to an ok place, head on out along the main road to cafe snookyard – didn’t get bothered once on our walk ????

Get a couple of little bits, play a game of pool, daisy sees a mouse, very stary man works there

Head home
