Wake up with a couple of coffees before we need to get up and go!

In an Uber for about 10 mins to arrive at Vic on the Park pub

Grab a couple of schooners (less than a pint but more than half ????)

Daisy’s friend, Emma, and her boyfriend meet us – been about 5 years since they’ve seen each other!

We have a little day of drinking, catching up and playing pool ????

Jugs of Philter xpa are 13 aud (for about 3 schooners)

A game very much by the English and not so much down under so much we win… strange machine to pay tho, like a remote pay and then it releases the balls on the table

We stroll around the suburbs before leaving them to head home and us towards Newtown

There’s a couple of decent places knocking about a fair few bars and restaurants and shops, clearly the place to be

Has some solid small town American vibes to it crossed with a long shopping street

Pass by the best Thai restaurant in Sydney, apparently – will have to come back to try

But we head to the first that looks tasty too: Macelleria

It’s a steakhouse, so a little bit pricey, but worth it

After, we go up towards the train station… but the area looks pretty and intriguing

We go up to have a look for a potential visit in the future

Back down to the station where we grab the T2 to Central and then the T8 to Mascot

Home for an early night!
