For the first time in a long time we have a lie in bed and chill morning

Finally out and about we pop into Petit Corner for a cheeky flat white on flinders street

We head up to Fortune Alley to have some noodles – a place we spotted last time we were in Melbourne but never made it

For 14 dollars each we get noodles, kung po chicken and sweet and sour pork/honey chicken

Eat noms whilst planning our future… well at least a plan for what to do for the next few weeks … a sorta plan made we head out for a spot of shopping around Melbourne Central including a trip to Daisies favourite shop on earth: Chemist Warehouse ????

We catch the tram across to Hoyts cinema for a cheeky showing of Aquaman

Walk down past Melbourne Marina and see the Marvel Stadium and 1000s of jellyfish in the marina! You do not want to go swimming here!

We make it to the cinema in time for all the adverts. Bit of a different setup to UK cinemas, we kinda pick up our popcorn and pour our own drinks and pay for them in a bar, before heading through into an extremely spacious and jazzy cinema screen with leather recliners and leg room for days

Aquaman 2 was as expected – a sub-par standard DC sequel with all the usual bits you expect – it’s basically the movie version of fast food these days

Back to the “Great” Southern Hotel to chill before getting out to Taco Bills (est 1967) for dinner

Fajitas and tacos for us ????

Though it is the 2nd time we have had fajitas in Australia where the meat/veggies have zero spices on them… why are bland fajitas a thing!
