Start the day right, with coffee and pancakes – happy pancake day!

Head just down the road to the giant California Redwoods – remnants from the past logging times. Only 82 years old but can confirm they are quite tall!

Next stop is Hopetoun Falls. 201 steps and some slopes down you are at the bottom of a 30 metre waterfall of the Aire river – the only heritage listed river within the Otway Ranges
After that climb, we then head to Otway Fly Treetop Adventures for some antics up in the trees of the rainforest
A 1km walk through the rainforest, we then ascend up to the 600m long boardwalk through and above the rainforest canopy overlooking the mighty Beech trees and ferns below

After a rather steep walk back up to the visitor centre, we cool off with a sarnie for lunch before heading out to the Twelve Apostles
A drive down the Great Ocean Road and finally by the coast again, we stop at the visitor centre – it’s rather rammed! Walk down to the viewpoint and see some of the 12 limestone columns – some are around the bay

We continue on our journey along the coast stopping off at a few other formations along the way including The Grotto, The Bakers Oven, London Bridge and finally Bay of Islands

We check in to our stop for the evening, NRMA Warrnambool Riverside Holiday Park, and have a good dip in the inside pool – the wind was a bit much for the outside pool today!
After a freshen up, we head to Red Rooster for some cheap dinner – a whole chicken and sides for just £15

Post dinner, we head back to the holiday park for the end of the evening – as it has no signal or WiFi we publish this blog post from the Red Rooster car park ????
Happy Pancake Day from down under! ????
