Bed was a bit hard, thunder was a bit loud, building has definitely seen better days! Shower was a little bit too small helping us to understand the quantity of towels to help the flood!
Harry and Camilla meet us at our entrance and we’re scooted to the train station. Miss the train!
Another one shortly, nice loud train ride though we get to hear about the journey of stops from our dedicated tour guide (Camilla)
Milan! That means coffee and food
Duomo di Milano: beautiful cathedral in the centre
Croissants, coffee and chats. Harry is almost fluent with asking for milk with his tea by moo-ing at the staff!
It’s Milan fashion week! Very, very busy
Ah, we can see Sforzesco Castle!

Passing through, we see a cat on a precarious post in the moat and reach Parco Sempione
Lots of wildlife around the Bridge of Little Mermaids
Arch della Pace is at the end of the park which is surrounded by a running event
To the bar! Found a lil beer hall, Spiller, where we plonked our butts for a catch up
Camilla wasn’t wrong about needing to hide her car! Hail, thunder and lightning have struck!
Hiding with a beer until we pluck the courage to maneuver onwards
Tram! After plucking the courage to leave with some rain, we made a tram. No form of accessible purchase – must buy in advance
We made it to Navigli: beautiful and very Venice-like – a buzzing and youthful place to visit for sure!

Pizza for dinner, two piccante (spicy) along with a mojito and hugo for Davesy
Harry had never tried Limoncello, had to give it a go!
Seemed like a nice end to the day but unfortunately Daisy booked the wrong station – another drink it is, at Darsena
Another bar?
Onto the next meal! We head to China Town area though turned out not to be great. Nevertheless, Harry grabs some – potentially risky – streetfood from Pao Pao (he’s nut intolerant is all, looked very good otherwise!)
A quick tipple before we head off to the last train at Cantine Isola dal 1896: very lovely selection of wines by the glass with some “happy hour” snacks (free crisps alongside)
Oh, but of course, we miss the last train! Uber it is…
Straight to bed!
