Day 156 – A Davesy day off

A slow day today – out of the house about 2pm, grab a Nandos for lunch

We’re on route to AC/DC lane – it’s 38 degrees out currently so an arduous trek! ????

Meandering gently down Flinders Lane to get to AC/DC lane (the famous band from Melbourne)

We wander around a bit and head to Fitzroy gardens and see the old treasury building from the outside – plenty of ducks and trees and grass … and of course a scorching sun

Getting roasted in the sun, we head back via grabbing bits for dinner

Dinner is a feast of chicken fajitas with salsa, homemade guacamole and cream cheese (instead of buying each sour cream and cheese ????)

We get ready and pop out again as the sun goes down – we’re heading to one of our favourite places in Melbourne: Flagstaff Gardens

They’re quite busy and there’s even a group of bagpipers playing… but Grey Flying Foxes do make an appearance

Keep hunting around the gardens and we have bait this time – we’ve cut up some apples as we know it’s a Possum delight

We spot, play with and feed 11 possums before heading home
