We’ve been allowed to stay in our Air BnB later than typical check out so we get to wake up a little late, or at least try with the heat of QLD with no air con ????

It’s a leisurely day as we’ve only got to move places to stay today on the agenda

We have some coffee and mug noodles, for lunch, while we have Dog on the telly

Time to get a move on: we get ready and prepare for the unforgiving sun as we walk out bags to the station

The trains run pretty frequently and are well-equipped with contactless available

We take a direct line to South Brisbane and it’s not too far to trek with our bags to where we’re staying

Brisbane 1 has three towers of apartments and we’re staying in the first tower in someone’s Air BnB – the view’s quite nice

The place is very nice and gives us some space while we explore Brisbane

We have to pop to the local Coles for some supplies before getting back and trying the pool here

The main pool is cold as the sun’s gone down so we opt to try the other option – this one’s on the roof and has two plunge pools with a nice view

After a quick dip, we get back down and get onto dinner – we’ve opted for a treat tonight (with the benefit of a heavy discount)

With Damsel on the telly during, we relax and then call it a day

Note: we realise it’s been 6 months since we initially took off for Amsterdam to kick off our travels ????
