Wake up and have a coffee in bed before showers and check out

Grab some pastries and a coffee for the 20 min walk to the bus station – the sun is very intense (and we’re not even camping)!

2 hours to Split and we arrive just in time for some lunch

Walk over to Sexy Cow for a twist on a burger place – “it’s a wrap”

Now we can check in! We go over to our bed for the next few days. I’s very quaint and the host is adorable

After a spritz and freshen up, we hit the town and wonder around the sights of the palace and sought out an option for dinner

We’ve found another free walking tour which was super informative – we can highly recommend Guru Tours and our host Roko

We found out that most of Croatia has been 6 different countries over the last 100 years, and only officially Croatia recently!

Some dinner at one of the spots for some local dishes, Buffet Fife

Avoid the Cod Fish “Bianco” – it’s a cold fish and potato pate ????

We had the Goulash and the grilled chicken which were nice and came with sides – but €5 for tomato sauce… are they mad?!

Look around the labyrinth that is the palace/old town until we settle for a pint by the water and people watch
