Up after a poor night’s sleep! Woken by thin walls and children, thankfully sticking forks through towels into the windows made up for the lack of curtains… would not recommend our stay in someone’s basement
Have an ice cold shower (of course no hot water) – a refreshing start to the day ????
Grab a pastry and a takeaway coffee – very nice and cheap coffee from a tiny place, Primo
Walk to meet our walking tour held by GuruWalk hosted by a local here, Marco
Dubrovnik became republic, sort of proudly specialising in espionage (similar to current democracy!) working as a middleman to ottoman empire war
They’ve stopped Airbnb from invading the city and filled in places in case they become a prospect!
After we grab a quick bite from Snogu Street Bar with some chicken noodles and OJ

Run back to collect last bits before our sunset sea kayak tour
Start off on the kayaks round West of the little island, Otok Lokrum, that defends Dubrovnik from all the waves – well most of them… they do flood time-to-time
We pass to get to Fisherman’s Cave: a natural-made cave that even has its own nudist beach to the right of entry! So many sausages!

Back on the way to Dubrovnik towards another cave, Betina, with a beach for us to stop off and have a snorkel with the fishes!

Then we head just on time to see the old port via water and then off to the perfect viewpoint for catching the sunset on the waves: Kolorina Bay

Hop off and have a glass of wine and bruscette before heading to our small place for a freshen up
Straight to some noms! We found a little place that did a 3 course meal for €12 each – LAJK – just what we needed!

Then we try The Gaffe again… we can get seats and a drink with some lovely live music – not cheap though (talking £7 a pint!!)
