Morning showers with actual warm water this time! Though you have to be quick before it runs out ????
Checkout by 10 – why is this now a thing! I want a lie-in, man!
Out on the street hungover and not woken up yet, wander through the alleys battling the continued mounds of tourist out of old town and up to Dubrovnik University to grab a coffee and toastie at Coffee Break
Bus to the Lapad sea front (West side of the peninsula), have a long walk around to find the More Cave. It’s prepped with it’s own bar and restaurant – chill outside on the water front with a coffee

To the supermarket to buy a cooked chicken and random potatoes to tear apart for lunchies! We get bombarded by all sorts of local animals too…

Let’s try again! Attempt 2 – start pulling chicken apart, swarms of wasps attack …. run away
Attempt 3 – down by the path start pulling chicken apart and batting awat wasps to get it into something edible – run again!
Attempt 4 – down by the fountain we manage to start eating, and the stray cats come begging now… no peace for the wicked, it seems!
Finally eaten, throw rubbish away and leave this place!
Some time to kill so walk to bus station, along the harbour sides, chilling in the parks, checking out Croatia’s first navy boat
Bus is 45 minutes late arriving! Grr
Make it to Bosnia border, so much faffing

Finally passported, we’re back on bus (after 45 minutes)
Half past 7 at night… we should have already been there by now, but only halfway – so of course a rest stop for 15 mins so people can buy kebabs from the truck stop
9pm we arrive in Mostar!!!
Unload, and head for dinner – a pain with no internet! Stupid lack of roaming
Blok Bar: has Wi-Fi and actual good food for actual prices!

Now to hunt for the apartment in the middle of the night – this day just won’t quit!
One nice surprise on the way home was a hedgehog we must call Chester
