Feeling a little better this morning, we have a coffee before we get ready and check out
Our hotel fetches a taxi and then we’re dropped at The General

A ham and cheese toastie, a mayonnaise and chicken focaccia sandwich and a couple of cappuccinos
We get a cappuccino to go before getting to Arthamas Snack Bar & Cruise Port Nusa Lembongan where we check in for our ride

It’s not long till we board the boat that takes us but it’s not an easy boarding – there’s very wavy waters so it takes us a couple goes to try and get on
Once on board, it’s only a 30-minute ride but we make a friend along the way (see the featured image)
We land in Sanur port and it’s a right faff to get out but we instantly get an orange juice and a raisin danish to fuel us to get a taxi
There seems to be a local taxi company that’s taken over the local roads that means it’s difficult to get any sort of reasonably priced taxi. Be warned they use extremely aggressive tactics to force a lot of people into the overpriced taxis, but we and a few others force our way through to freedom and get grabs – we have to walk for about 15 minutes to the end of the road to get it though!
When we do get one, it takes us an hour to get to our hotel: ibis Styles Bali Legian
We check in, get settled and even pop for a chilly swim

Back to the room, we do a little work before heading out to explore
We’re in-between areas we’ve visited before so all new to us
Hungry, we head to a restaurant that serves some of our favourite cuisine: Lemongrass

We go for our traditional Thai dinner of sharing a chicken green curry and a pad Thai, with a couple of Bintangs
Next, we stroll around the area in hunt for a draught pint – we find Mama’s German Restaurant

As well as a Bintang and Bali Hai draught, we share a rather sad margarita pizza ????
We then head off to explore more of the Legian area – it’s a shame but the beach area seems to be quite smelly so we go back inland and find The Goat Melasti

We have a bucket of beer between us with some live music
After, we make our way back and stumble on The Legend Bar & Restaurant which also has live music; we have a couple beers, chat with a couple originally from Leicester but now live in Perth, before calling it a night
