Nice hotel, but sadly has the world’s loudest air conditioner – louder than the roadworks outside – so not a great sleep

We head to Hanna Restaurant & Coffee Shop for a bacon panini and eggs Benedict (they have HP sauce ????)

We grab a little local red taxi to the airport about 20 mins away and get straight to heading through security

It’s pretty quick but as it’s a combined domestic and international airport, Daisy’s over 100ml products are rid of

We get into the waiting area and there’s not much going on this side, as well as the coffees costing like 100 baht – no thank you!

A cheeky gate change and a bit of a wait and we board, but not together – thanks for nothing, Air Asia ????

To Bangkok in an hour and a bit; we land, disembark and grab a Grab taxi to our apartment – you enter through the coffee shop, PaMa, to the back get the key out of a locker and each key is kept in a jazzy book box

The apartment is basic but clean and newly renovated; there’s a little kitchenette but the air con is a bit weak!

We chill for a bit then head out to around the Chinatown area our apartment is based into

Dave found Por-Sam-Pao Yaowarat online so we go straight there for a cheeky Peking Duck, with a main course of noodles and grilled meats each – too much for us to finish but yummy ????

We wander around the narrow streets of Chinatown enjoying the smells of all the spices

Around the streets near the water, we find BBQ Rooftop River View and stay to enjoy a few cheeky draught Changs on the waters edge watching the sun set over Bangkok (see the featured image)

Finished – after some terrible service – we get a taxi back into the heart of Chinatown

Here, we pick up some supplies and take in the madness

There’s a shopping mall nearby where Daisy is enticed by a pet Duck someone has – he even gives her a nip!

Along one of the streets back to our place, we spy a little bar serving two for one Tiger beers – we have one but we literally have no idea what the place is called

Finally, we get back to our apartment we chill and recover from the day
