Actually up and out before checkout today – this is new!

Grab takeaway coffee from Velodrome cafe, and stroll along the canal (as much a stroll you can do lugging your rucksacks of course) to get to H cafe again

We have coffees, pancakes with unlimited maple syrup, juice, eggs – om nom nom

From here, we get a taxi to the Ekkamai Bus Terminal which takes almost an hour with the traffic

The terminal has a variety of Bus routes available and we go for the first option for 160 bahts each that leaves shortly

It’s a 2.5 hour drive to arrive into Pattaya on the esplanade; we don’t even need to get a taxi to our hotel as it’s just by the drop off

We check into Flipper Lodge Hotel and head up to investigate the rooftop view and pool with an obligatory dip

After a brief shower and change, we head out to explore the dinner choices and get a view of the sunset (see the featured image)

As we’re pretty knackered still, we go for a safe choice of something we’ve had before

A whole chicken with various trimmings and a couple litres of Chang from CAFE LA PLAGE

We accomplish a food coma and decide to call it a night
