Day 494 – A Phnom-enal sunset

It’s a slower pace for today, we’re up around 10:30 am and wander out

Enso Cafe sorts us some brunch

After, Dave drops Daisy off at Gorgeous Nails where she has a little pamper session and he keeps himself busy

A few hours later, we reunite and get back to the hotel

We have a little play in the pool

Next up, getting ready and heading to Amazing Cambodia Cruises where we board a boat with our German friend

We are taken on the water from Tonle Sap River to the meeting point of this with the Mekong River – there’s a clear divide between the two

The Mekong River is the 12th longest in the world, the longest in Asia and crosses through eight countries

We have a few beers as the sun sets and then depart and wander down the road to Phnom Penh Night Market

There are knick-knacks being sold and a sort of food court so we decide to carry on further to find the informal “pub street” of Phnom Penh and eat at Gastro 130 Restaurant & Bar 24/7

With our German friend and two Australians, we share a three litre beer tower too

After this, we roam in the area we’ve found ourselves in to stumble on the red light district and settle nearby at Olala Restaurant & Bar

As it gets a little late, we decide to call it a night
