Day 65 – An evening in Delhi

Bed at 6am, up at 3pm with a rather disturbed sleep from all the non stop horns outside, it’s endless!

Walk through the absolute chaos outside the railway station down to Central Park

Chatting to a helpful India local who works on the railways along the way

Pop into Indian travel to book train tickets … but end up booking 5 days of the golden triangle

Grab a snack – mint mojito and butter chicken pizza (spicy)

Start an evening tour of New Delhi

Car driver, pass India gate (from ww2) pass fort New Delhi (green and clean where the big wigs live – government and things)

Stroll around the haul khas fort village

Dinner at Naivedyam for a Mharaja thali and soup

A mango panna on the side (very spiced mango juice – not my favourite)

Go by the India gate to see it all lit up, very fancy but closed πŸ™

Off to bed to try and sleep – the never ending horns from cars and trains only interrupted by a midnight parade for a wedding
