We finally snapped – we’re packed and getting out of this hellhole hotel 2 days early!

… It must happen a lot: reception just nodded and gave an instant refund

Note: avoid the Ibis Budget Fawkner at all costs, there are actually nicer jail cells or garages out there ????

Grab a Krispy Kreme coffee and say goodbye to the place that kept us sane this last few days

We’re off to That Coffee Shop in Coburg to grab some brunch

Brunch was some waffles with berries and maple syrup and a baked eggs, beans and chorizo – both with a gallon of coffee of course

Next, we check into our new hotel – a converted former prison – but sooo much nicer than the prison we’ve stayed in for the last 4 days!

After a freshen up, we go for a wonder around the prison/hotel and it’s surrounding bars and shopping centres – all in the prison grounds, it is pretty awesome, tbf – there is even a massive Brewdog!

Catch the train and tram combination to Fitzroy where we stop to have a happy hour in the Evelyn Hotel again

We make a few friends and have some more beers, then do a little pub crawl to Stones Hotel for some food – we split a pizza and more drinks

Off to Gasometer to see the one and only Beans on Toast!! ????????

After the gig we all hang out drinking more and eventually, by 3am, are now part of the lock-in at the pub playing pool with beans and co… and of course more drinking

5:30am we stumble out and grab a taxi back to the hotel
