A bit of a better start to the day than yesterday ????

We head over for breakfast: it’s a feast of fresh breads, fresh fruits, a vast selection of fresh juices and even a Thai red curry

Whilst enjoying breakfast we spot a variety of wildlife around us, a couple of frogs on each others backs bouncing about, a bird and its baby watching over the stream of tadpoles looking for a cheeky snack, the cat that hates belly rubs

After breakfast, we recover with some work, get ready and head out into town to grab a cheeky cappuccino from Time Cafe

Realising we don’t actually have enough cash to pay, we pop out to battle the loudest ATM in the world to get some cash out ???? a spot of tinnitus and half an hour later we have cash and go exploring

We head over to the bamboo bridge – but, unfortunately, it’s a little out of commission right now…

Thankfully, they have built a new bamboo “Sling” bridge just up the way which has survived and we have a cheeky stroll over it and around the Pai River enjoying all the different varieties of wild birds about

Next, we head to Pai Authentic Travel to get 2 tickets for “Tipsy Tubing” for tomorrow – it’s something we were highly recommended by a good friend back in Leamington

There’s 2 ladies here helping sell it to us who are getting on it with some tinnies a day early ???? ????

After a spot of retail therapy for Daisy, we go back to our hotel to enjoy the pool

We have it all to ourselves, it’s clean and nice so we spend over an hour in it – even during a brief rain shower

Back to our villa, we shower and head out with the laptop to grab a buffalo chicken cheese toasty – with a happy hour glass of wine each – whilst doing some work, at Cheese Madness

After, we head back to our hotel restaurant – the Blue Ox – to have a couple of happy hour mojitos and again do a cheeky hour of work

Finally, getting hungry we call it quits with work and head out to the walking street to hunter gather

We set up base at the Jazz House to see some live music – all you need to do is buy a drink and they encourage you to bring in your street food in

So, we have a large Chang and Dave heads out to grab a chicken panang curry ????

Next round, Daisy heads out and gets us a lovely flambéed Thai basil pork

After enjoying our food, drinks and the two live bands on, we head back to our hotel ready for an early night

Tomorrow, we’ve got Tipsy Tubing booked – we hear it’s gonna be good so want to get a good night’s sleep!
