A little lie in today and we enjoy coffees from our new machine, Dave so lovingly cleaned, and some mince pies for breakfast

Eventually, we get ready and head out to Palace Café for a couple of coffees and a date scone to share

We’re going round the op shops again for some other items we’ve thought of overnight and spot from perusing

After, we go to the retailers again and do the same

With a successful trip, we get back to set up items we picked up and chill for a little while

It gets to the evening and we need to get another proper food shop – it takes us a couple hours!

We have two dishes we’re selected to make from the cook book we got yesterday so Daisy gets straight to prepping while Dave dashed to another shop to grab some items we couldn’t initially find

It’s definitely a learning curve to get acquainted with cooking in our new kitchen but we get through

We have sweet and sour chicken and pad Thai ????

After, we have a peppermint tea and call it a night
