We have some toast and coffee while we wake up and then get ready for the day

Today, there’s a market on down the road from us so we head out to investigate

It’s a small knick-knack and fresh produce market hosted in a church, which is organised by a local animal charity

We have a little nose around before grabbing a ham, cheese & pineapple toastie and cinnamon scroll to share

Following this, we pop around a couple op shops to find a deal or two before grabbing a coffee each from G’Day Café

We get the new purchases back home and have a little break before going to Kmart to exchange and buy an item as well as going to check out Countdown

It’s back to the apartment to drop stuff off, a quick break and then out again to The Victoria Tavern, or The Old Vic, opposite our building to begin a local pub crawl

After an actual pint of both IPA and ginger beer, we move on to Sprig + Fern Petone

This place has a homely feel with a board dedicated to what happened today in history and a sort of conundrum board; we get a wine and a half pint of pilsner (see the featured image)

There’s some live music on so we enjoy it for a little before drinking up and continuing moving in the spirit of a traditional pub crawl

Around the corner from here is Abandoned Brewery so we give that a shot too

Being the most we’ve drank for a while, we’re pretty knackered so call it a night after this – nice to have visited all the very local locals!
