Day 419 – The Harbourside Market

At a leisurely pace, we get up and have some coffees before getting ready for the day

Dave found out that there’s a weekly market held on Sundays so we grab the bus into the city – it’s only around $2.50 each!

We reach Cable Street and the market is for fresh fruit and veg with many vendors selling

The prices are a little more than the supermarkets so we hold off but they also have a variety of food vans so we have a little investigation

Again, a little pricey but we go for a Greek-style sarnie to share

Following this, we have a stroll around the city

We get a bit peckish again and find that New World Supermarket Wellington City can give us a decent snack each – the in-house bakery makes enormous baked goods

Taking our large snacks, we have a wander and get some admin shopping done before getting back to Petone

We have a shop for items to cook for dinner and get that going

We have homemade CTM and have a relaxed evening
