We have breakfast that is included with our stay and then get ready and pop up to the roof for a quick view of the empty concrete jungle

It’s a tuk tuk ride to the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port where we pretty easily check in for our ferry and wait for it
Our boat runs behind because of motorbike unloading but we do get on with a seat and head off about 12:30 pm
It’s a very ill-inducing ride and it takes about double the time; and get dropped at Kaoh Touch Beach and settle at Koh Rong Steakhouse for some small lunch

After, we check into Apsara Guesthouse, drop the bags and head out to explore the shore
We wander to the end of this beach, through the forest on the corner and out to Long Set Beach
On this route, there are many chickens hiding around, playing in the water and mangroves (see the featured image) – a little sad how much rubbish is everywhere

Have a brief paddle in the sea nearby the bridge over the Koh Rong Lagoon
Continue on to where the road starts to investigate activities for tomorrow
Then, we go for another sea dip to the quiet side of the beach before going to Onederz Koh Rong for a $9 three litre tower of Angkor

There’s a small forest fire that is on and off every now and then while we’re here
After sunset, we make our way back as it’s getting dark and the way wasn’t easy to do
We have dinner at Koh Rong Steakhouse as it is rather lively and served us well before

First course is pepperoni pizza and Thai green curry and we follow this up with a Hawaiian pizza
Back to our room to get some sleep, though not before the electricity decides to stop to just our room for about 10 minutes ????
