We wake up gently and have a hotel coffee before getting ready for today

As well as this, we pack up most of our clothes and take them with us

It is a while before we rangle ourselves a Grab taxi but we eventually get a ride to a little more central to go for brunch

The spot we were aiming for is so busy that we’re turned away so we find Barisa Cafe which provides us a lovely plate of fruity pancakes each

From here, we’re not far from the Phra Arthit port so hop on here down to ICONSIAM

We go through the mall for an aircon-ed walk and then find Vevey Laundry where we drop off our mounds of dirty clothes for the better part of an hour

While we wait, we go back to the mall to explore, then go and put the clothes in the dryer and back to the mall, including grabbing a pain au raisin from an Eric Kayser

Once the clothes are finished, we pop by Boots to grab some bits before grabbing the ferry again and getting off at Rachawong

A little wiggle down the streets and we make it to the main road of Chinatown – safe to say it’s a little chaotic

Meandering our way through the crowd, we make it to Por-Sam-Pao Yaowarat

We’ve been here before but it seems they’ve been able to knock down the wall to the next door building and extend so it’s a little less cramped – this is a good thing too as for the majority of our time here there’s a queue of at least three groups waiting for a seat ????

The peking duck pancakes are so good, we order the same again!

On the menu, we notice that it says you can buy a beer here between 11 am and 2 pm and again after 5 pm – this is because it’s illegal for retailers to sell alcoholic beverages outside of these times in Thailand

Once full, we wander around the corner and notice familiarity again

We spot the bar we stopped at when here last and figure we might as well go for a drink as they serve draught beer with a deal – they have live music too (see the featured image)

After this, it’s about time to head home so we get ready for our ride home and find a friend

Someone is kind enough to bring her dinner and we order a Grab and get back for some rest
