A leisurely wake up and coffee before readying ourselves and wandering through the Saturday car boot sale in a carpark to the local New World

We grab a coffee here before getting to the bus stop put up here for today

The bus takes us around the town picking up others and along the vineyard road here before arriving into Fenwick – we’re at Marlborough Wine & Food Festival!

First point of call is to try our favourite brand of wine from here, Villa Maria – Dave has the private bin sauvingnon blanc and Daisy the rosé

There’s live music throughout the day as well as some cooking masterclasses

The other wineries we have tiples from are Cloudy Bay, Hunter’s Wine, Four Hawk Day, Awatere River and a few of each The Ned and Leefield Station

The event ends at 6 pm where we grab the bus back into town and go to The Goodhome Marlborough and find some people who were also at the festival

Thinking we’re quite sweet, they actually buy us dinner and we have a few drinks here and Scotch Wine Bar & Wine Shop

It gets late and we call it a day!
