Another good sleep – except the 6am wake up from the temples – we have to head off (though will dearly miss this hotel ????)

Breakfast pancakes for daisy
To the airport and through security – again stopped because of the berocca!
Domestic departures is very snazzy with a lot of shops and restaurants and coffee shops

We grab some flat whites from Starbucks, chill for half an hour then go down to board

The usual suspects get on with us: faffers, no headphone-etiquette and seat reclined in your face-kinda people, as well as a typical screaming child to boot!
Thankfully after 45 mins, we land in Goa
Absolute madness and lunacy trying to get a cab!
The apps just refuse to work, people running around screaming and somehow we make it with a driver to our hotel (though a steep £22 quid!)
Bit of a long drive through the tropical woodlands, along the coast to narrower and narrower roads lined with random shops and things

The drive is so long, the sun sets by the time we make it
Quick stroll along the beach and we arrive at Casa Jaali – it’s lovely and certainly a little quiet escape from the chaos
Freshen up
Get dinner – they are actually allowed beef here!!!

Some beef and a traditional Goan fish curry, with a couple of cocktails ????
After dinner a stroll along the beach in the starlight, dodging all the crabs running about
Up the top of the beach is a line of restaurants/ bars – we go up to check some out – most are rather dead but a couple are busy with music
We chill with some Long Island ice teas, by candle light, at Namaste Restaurant

We even pop in for a little dip in the rather warm ocean before strolling back to bed
