Woken up a little early by noisy neighbours but can sleep in – miss breakfast but that’s okay
Check out day so get a move on packing bags and leave them at reception for our last time of adventuring KL this year
Bread & Brew is just round the corner

A jazzy shashuka for Dave, a pain au chocolate for Daisy and two flat whites

There are some adorable doggos in a stroller with diapers on!
Walk to our first activity of the day
On the way, we see a rat run across the path and shows us her baby – so cute!
We enter the front gates of the Menara KL Tower area – it’s so hot uphill, but thankfully there’s a couple pedestrian cut throughs

Making it to the entrance, we’d already purchased tickets online so just go to collect some physical ones
Up the lift and out above the Observation Deck (the original place to look) we enter the new Sky Deck – an open-air 360° view of the whole of KL!

We’ve also got tickets to the Sky Box – there are two of these which extend over the edge; scary stuff

After, we go back in the lift to where we do the Tower Walk though this is unfortunately shut due to weather warnings – not the end of the world as it’s walking around the building from very low down
Out of the tower, we walk to the KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre) and go for a quick Starbucks as the heat is getting to us both
Now for the KL Aquaria
Wondering in, they’re just about to start the feeding of the Red Bellied Piranhas – they can often finish a meal in under a minute, greedy blighters
Large variety of fishes both big and small; even some meerkats too
Otters! They’re being fed shortly so we wait to see
They’re well trained and their feeding time comes with a sort of show – it’s to ensure they’re of good health opposed to a sad gimic
Through to multiple exhibits including where in Malaysia is good to go visit for tropical swimming/water activities to the different types of flora life
We reach the end and are getting a little hungry so go towards the mall beneath the Petronas Towers

A little retail therapy… Hey! It’s almost Christmas ????????♀️
Actually getting hungry, and looking at the time, we go to McDonald’s en route to the hotel to collect our bags and bid KL farewell (for now)

Taxi! To the airport in just over an hour
In the airport and we need to go to a Document Check Counter to ensure we have actual seats on the plane!
Thankfully we do but feels like we’re walking to our destination with the length of this airport ????
Boarded and ready to go – we’re seated one in front of the other but someone is nice enough to switch
Plane overnight
